J. Tad Seaman, a life long member of Mountainville, NY passed away at New York Veterans Home in Montrose, NY on Sunday, August 23, 2015. He was 73 years old. The son of the late James and Elizabeth (Scantlebury) Seaman, he was born in Mountainville, NY on August 12, 1942. He married his beloved wife Jane E. Seaman in Mountainville Methodist Church on July 31, 1976. Tad was a loving husband, amazing father, a pillar in the community, and adored by all who knew him. He was a past President and life long member of the Mountainville Engine Company #3. He was also a member of the New Windsor Rotary Club, Orange County Chamber of Commerce, Black Rock Fishing Game Club, and the Cornwall Lions Club. Tad received his Bachelors of Industrial Engineering degree at NJIT and his Law Degree at Brooklyn College. He is survived by his loving wife at home, Jane E. Seaman; his children: John Tad Seaman II and his girlfriend Lenore Kissle and her daughter Allie Diaz of Mountainville, NY and Erin A. Seaman of Brooklyn, NY; his brother James Lee Seaman of Land O'Lakes, FL; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh, NY 12550. Funeral Service will be held at the Mountainville Methodist Church at 10am, 615 Angola Rd, Mountainville, NY 10953.
