Richard J. Palkovic Sr., 87, entered into rest on Friday, December 31, 2021. The son of the late Christian and Katherine (Juracek) Palkovic, he was born in Newburgh, NY and was married to the late Rita Palkovic.
Richard was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Institute of Children's Literature, Marist College and Dutchess Community College. He was retired from IBM Fishkill as a Senior Business Controls Analyst.
Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Palkovic Jr. and Greg Palkovic; and grandchildren, Amanda, Jennifer and Kelley Palkovic, all of Maine.
Visitation will be held from 10 am - 11 am on Saturday, January 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney AVe., Newburgh, with entombment following in Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh.
