We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Teresa Martinson, age 59, of Wallkill New York. Teresa passed away early Tuesday evening in her home after a hard battle with ovarian cancer.
Teresa was born to Thelma MacPherson and Charles Holder on December 18, 1962. The youngest of five - Carla, Mary,Charles, William, and Teresa - Teresa was a bright, loving woman. She spent most of her working years as an English teacher in the Washingtonville Central School District, and made a great impact on many lives throughout her career. She was constantly busy helping students, working on the high school's literary magazine, and volunteering at her church, but always made time to be with her family. Teresa loved cooking, music, poetry, hiking, and skiing among many other things. She is survived by her husband, Russell, and two daughters, Amanda and Katharine. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday, October 23 from 12 - 2:30 PM with a Service at 2:30 PM.
